A taper is a clean, natural haircut where the hair slowly gets shorter on the sides and back. It blends smoothly into the top for a neat, fresh look. This style works for all hair types and is easy to maintain.
A fade is a haircut where the sides and back are cut very short and smoothly blend into the top. A low, mid, or high fade changes how high the fade starts on the head.
Fade (Low, Mid, High)
A fade blends the sides and back from short to longer hair. Low, mid, and high describe how high the fade goes.
Buzz or shave is a very short haircut done with clippers or a razor. It gives a clean, low-maintenance look.
